He is doing his own personal drum ritual to get a spiritual connection to whatever he wants to reach.
Didnīt tell me yet. ;)

As you can see itīs a coyote. I found this hand made paper in an art store and I wanted to work with it and after the rough idea for the pic popped up my mind I started dancing around in my appartement to find a pose for him. I had very much fun from developing the idea until the finished piece. The sketch is done completely without any references.

Size: 19,7 inch (50cm) to 27,6 inch (70cm)
I love working with big papers and canvases. And soon I get a bigger scanner than the one I have now. XD *happy*
Done only with acrylic paint.

Sold this piece on Eurofurence 12.

Daily Deviation

Given 2007-02-25
After pondering over notes about which deviation from this impressive gallery to DD, Drum Ritual was the clear winner. Beautiful textures and earthy grace, this is just one of the many fabulous pieces that can be found in *AlphaKi varied gallery! ( Suggested by ~HealingBlight and Featured by $y2jenn )

Amazing job!
In your personal opinion, is it really hard to use acrylics?

beautifully done! The attention to detail is spectacular! I love the anatomy too, and the paws, I'm a sucker for anthro paws! I wonder if those strings might tangle...
