My fox and I did a bookproject together. He wrote four wonderful storries (in German only) and I illustraded them. This is one of my favourite pictures.

Extreme shortcut about the story:
The fox Cass is a result of a genetic breeding experiment developed and studied by a group of scientists in a laboratory. To test their intelectual potential they play chess against their objects.
The story is about an conversation between Cass and Prof. Anderson. About what is wright and what is wrong from both point of views.

My first Copic piece! I love these kind of markers... *heart*

SEHR genial, wie der Blick durch die Reihen an Schachfiguren fällt! Und der Kleine wirkt schon sehr siegessicher, da kann man sich das Resultat des "Matches" ja fast denken XD.
Und das erste Copic Bild? Hut ab, schon allein vor dem Verlauf im Hintergrund. Ich bekomme das bis heute nur unter Schwierigkeiten hin und lange nicht so sauber und flächig. Auch die Schatten sind sehr schön. Ich hätte gar nicht auf Copics getippt, bis ichs gelesen habe. Da darf man auf weitere Werke mit Markern von dir ja nur gespannt sein ;D.

Nope the pic was all grayscaled. Did that with gray copic marker and black ink.

:heart: ich fand alle geschichten toll, aber "schachmatt" war mein favorit (yay für cass!)
und deine illustration dazu ist ja wohl mal mehr als stimmig ;) dieses undurchschaubare fuchslächeln, dazu noch eine sehr schöne und interessante perspektive - toll :)
